Center City Brightwood Teacher Recognized As TNTP Fishman Prize Finalist

Congratulations to Center City Brightwood teacher Ashley Walton who is a finalist for the TNTP Fishman Prize! The Fishman Prize is a $25,000 award recognizing the nation’s most effective PK-12 teachers working in high-need public schools. It is extremely selective, boasting thousands of nominations each year and nearly 800 teachers’ applications in 2017. The prize celebrates educators who have the ability to create challenging and engaging classrooms that help propel their students to success later in life.
