Welcome to the 2016-17 School Year!

We welcome all of our new and returning students for a terrific 2016-17 school year! About 1400 students joined us on Monday, August 22, including a new class of three-year old students at our Brightwood, Congress Heights and Petworth campuses. For the 2016-17 school year, we have added additional staff to support co-teaching and small group instruction so we can better meet the needs of every child. We are also increasing our investments in enrichment for students both during and after the school day, including opportunities to participate in Art, Music, STEM, and Drama. Finally, we are continuing to build character in our students through Morning Meetings and schoolwide gatherings that develop our core values of character, excellence, and service in our students.
